Corporate Member

According to Article 20 of the Article of Association of Hong Kong Institute of Patent Practitioners (the Institute), the following persons shall be eligible for election as Corporate Member of the Institute:

1. An organization of good repute which

   1. has a patent practice;

   2. has been recommended by a Certified Patent Agent? of the Institute; and

   3. is qualified and able to advance the objects of the Institute; or

2. An organization of good repute, which, not being in the practice of patent nor Intellectual Property, is, in the opinion of the Council by reason of its connection with the Law, Science, Engineering or the Arts be able to advance the objects of the Institute.

†Certified Patent Agent means a person whose name is entered on the Register of Patent Agents as described in Article 57 of the Article of Association of the Institute.
